Central Credit Union of Maryland (CCUM) is a state-chartered credit union headquartered in Baltimore, Maryland. Founded in 1950, CCUM serves approximately 4,500 members with approximately $42 million in total assets. The credit union has historically focused on serving the Veterans Affairs Maryland Health Care System (VAMHCS) community and surrounding areas in the Baltimore region.
In 2025, CCUM announced a planned merger with Point Breeze Credit Union, a larger Maryland-based credit union with over 65,000 members. This merger is expected to be finalized in early 2026, with full integration anticipated in late 2026.
